In the Sanskrit language, "Hanu" means "jaw" and "mana" means "disfigured". Childhood name of  Lord Hanuman was "Maruti? Once in a childhood, Maruti ate Lord Surya as a fruit. It caused darkness in the entire world. Lord Indra became angry by the incident that took place by maruti, he struck the kid Maruti with a thunderbolt that broke his jaw and he became senseless. After this incident, Hanuman lost his jaw for all future time.

Lord Hanuman was born by the grace of  Pawan Dev, but does one know that "Bhima" was also born by the grace of Pawan Dev? When Maharaja Pandu was living within the forest together with his wife Kunti and Madri, then at an equivalent time, Queen Kunti worshipped Pawan Dev with the will to possess a son, which resulted within the birth of "Bhima". Thus both Lord Hanuman and "Bhima" were brothers.

He cursed Anjana that she is going to give birth to a monkey. Anjana to urge obviate the curse worshipped Lord Shiva and urged him to be a neighborhood of her son. Thus, it's believed that Lord Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
