Jamat-Ul-Vida or Alvida-Juma  is one of the major Islamic festivals. The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is celebrated as Jamat-Ul-Vida or Jumat-Ul-Vida or Alvida-Juma. This festival is reflected in the good wishes of the Holy Quran. On this day across the world, people visit mosques for prayer as usaual like other Friday’s prayer and recite Quran. Special arrangements are made for the people gathered for prayer in mosque.

Various countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Indonesia, and some other countries throw a special arrangement for the people gathered at the mosque. In India, the grand mosque “Jama Masjid” at Delhi is famous for its large footfall on the day of Jamat-Ul-Vida or Alvida-Juma. Lots of needy people are served by the people who gathered at the Mosque for Prayer. The charity service or donation performed by the people on this day is part of the fest.

The festival of Eid begins with the Jamat-Ul-Vida prayers. People keep themselves engaged in reading Quran and worshipping almighty and donate Zakat in this holy month. Muslim women pray at home  and prepare food for the next fest. The sacred month of Ramadan has its holy significance and people. People fast whole day  and perform five-time prayers and the last day of the month is celebrated by Eid. Similarly, the last Friday of Ramadan is celebrated as Jamat-Ul-Vida or Alvida-Juma.
